The treatment of a lymphoma is conducted by a specialised doctor, who will take the decision of the treatment plan depending on the type of lymphoma, the age of the patient and prognostic factors. This decision is usually taken at a meeting of several doctors competent in the field of lymphoma research: the multidisciplinary consultation meeting. It is at this meeting that it is also decided whether or not to propose to the patient the possibility of participating in a clinical trial.
