CALYM’s active role in the research ecosystem

CALYM continues to maintain strong relationships with many players in the field of oncology research and aims to be an active contributor to the Carnot Institute network. This active contribution takes shape within the national network of the 39 Carnot Institutes and through CALYM’s participation in various working groups organized throughout the year by the Carnot Institutes Association. These working groups allow the search for solutions, the sharing of information and good practices in communication, etc.

As part of its role in the research ecosystem, CALYM interacts closely with French competitive clusters such as Lyonbiopôle, of which CALYM is a member, and Medicen.

CALYM’s research partnerships do not end there, as it works in collaboration with French cancer clusters such as CLARA, Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, and Cancéropôle de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

Finally, CALYM is a member of the FINDMED consortium (“Health-Drugs” Carnot sector’s), which aims to strengthen the competitiveness of drug companies. This process is carried out in France, while offering customized solutions that meet development needs and facilitate access to the academic R&D platforms of Carnot institutes, including CALYM.

The 15 years of the Carnot network

The Carnot network, which celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2021, aims to facilitate access to R&D for all companies so that they remain competitive in the world of innovation. Today, the Carnot network represents more than 10,200 R&D contracts per year, all of which have benefited numerous companies in a wide range of sectors.

For this anniversary, the Carnot network organized a virtual showroom in which CALYM proudly participated on the Health part, with a focus on the Lymphoma Data Hub.
